The IW Club Côte des Mégalithes was created just before the first containment, early 2020. 
It was officially chartered on Friday, October 1st 2021, at the restaurant LA STERNE, in Auray (Morbihan).

It is « l’Arlésienne » ! It is a proof of your determination ! National Representative of France, Brigitte LE JOSNE said.
Translator’ comment : L’Arlésienne or The Girl From Arles, is a French play in which the whole story is about that girl, but we never see her.
About sixty Inner Wheel ladies from all over France, met to celebrate this event with the ten founder ladies.
The founder ladies dress code was black cocktail dress, red shoes and a red flower pinned as a broach. Their husbands, called IW BOYS, were wearing a tartan and a black jacket !
During the ceremony, brillantly led by Christiane DARONDEAU, the speakers, Immediate Past District Chairman Sylvie BOUEDEC, District Chairman Suzanne RAMPAL, National Representative Brigitte LE JOSNE, officialized the new club Charter. Immediate Past National 
Representative Colette PADET read International President 2019-2020 Phillis CHARTER’s letter. 
Each member was given her IW insigna and the traditional banner exchange took place.
Executive members from eight IW Districts in France, Rotary Executive members and a Lion’s Club President were present. The atmosphere was warm and festive in an autumnal setting.
A raffle was organized to the benefit of the association « FEET AND HANDS », created by Damien SEGUIN, a skipper from Auray. Its aim : Make sailing accessible to disabled children. 
It was represented by its President, Philippe BOURDAUD.
The club is planning a walk and running event on an inclusive circuit to its benefit.
On the next day, despite the rain, 35 ladies went for a visit to the small port of Saint Goustan and they warmed up with crêpes and a bowl of cider !
